The Invercargill Licensing Trust (ILT) is a high performing community owned organisation with a clear purpose – to create and contribute to a vibrant Invercargill.
ILT operates 23 businesses across Invercargill. It employs around 650 staff and has a rich heritage of investing in leading edge hospitality facilities and funding significant community projects through its distribution of profits to over 400 community organisations each year.
The Langlands Hotel is a brand new 4.5 star, 78 room hotel in the heart of Invercargill. The rooms exude luxury and the five quality food and beverage offerings are current and sophisticated.
Our Guest Service Agents are the first greeting our guests receive, in person or on the phone. You can set the standard for the rest of their stay with us. We love to go the extra mile which is why many of our guests can't wait to come back
You will work quickly and efficiently while having a warm and friendly manner. At times the front desk can get busy so the ability to keep cool and multi task is a must while leaving our guests feeling well looked after and enjoying a positive experience.
Applicants will demonstrate the following attributes:

• Outstanding communication skills in person, over the phone and via email.
• Passion for delivering an exceptional guest experience.
• Ability to make independent decisions to ensure guest satisfaction within the Hotel’s guidelines.
• Energetic, upbeat personality with the ability to interact well with a variety of clientele which include high profile, corporate and leisure guests.
• Enjoys interaction with customers and building positive relationships.
• Able to thrive in a high pressure and fast paced environment and love to multitask.

Skills & Experience
- High level of attention to detail.
- Accurate financial processing skills for payments and guest charge back.
- Computer literacy using databases and email with the ability to process reservations, check in and check out of guests.
- Ability to follow instruction and work unsupervised.
- Listen to guests needs and offer the services they need.
- High level of verbal communication skills.
